BIO:


2004: The band was formed in Småland by David Johansson (guitar, vocals) and Tomas Salonen (drums).
2005: Practising, writing and drinking in the rehearsal space in Vetlanda. Did one show for patients at local psychiatric hospital.
2006: Entered Teknikkompaniet in Vetlanda, Sweden to record “Demo 2006″ with Peter Lundin as engineer. It was released in May and got the band in touch with various record labels. Around this time Oskar Rydén joined the band to play bass. First regular concert took place in Gothenburg.
2007: Debut album “Counting Heartbeats” was recorded at Teknikkompaniet, Vetlanda with Peter Lundin engineering. It was released on 07/07/07 by Trust No One Recordings (CD) and Sound Devastation (2xLP). Shows and touring followed, including a Scandinavian tour with Switchblade and a german tour with Ocean Chief. “Counting Heartbeats” was nominated for a P3 Guld award by national swedish radio.
2008: More touring followed, including appearances at Roadburn Festival in The Netherlands and Kuma’s Doom Fest in Chicago, USA, opening for Neurosis in Norway, and touring Europe with Switchblade. Kongh/Ocean Chief split LP and Kongh/Witch-Lord split 7″ were released on Land O Smiles Records.
2009: Second album “Shadows Of The Shapeless” was recorded at Teknikkompaniet, Vetlanda (Peter Lundin as engineer) and was released in May on Trust No One Recordings (CD) and Music Fear Satan (2xLP). Did several European tours following the release and played some festivals including Metaltown in Gothenburg.
2010: “Shadows Of The Shapeless” was released on CD in North America by Seventh Rule Recordings. A short tour in northern Sweden took place, as well as a summer tour in Europe, including appearances at Stoned From The Underground (Germany) and Muskelrock (Sweden) festivals. Oskar Rydén left the band.
2011: Toured Europe extensively supporting YOB. Also did a week-long scandinavian tour with Cough. Spent a lot of time writing material for a new album. Olle Hedenström joined the band to play bass. Both “Counting Heartbeats” and “Shadows Of The Shapeless” albums were re-released on vinyl by Music Fear Satan.
2012: Recorded third album “Sole Creation” at Teknikkompaniet, Vetlanda, co-engineered by Peter Lundin, Magnus Lindberg and Kongh. It was mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna) at The Vilhelm Room in Stockholm, Sweden during the fall. Only a few shows took place this year, including opening for Electric Wizard in Stockholm and playing the Heavy Days In Doom Town festival in Copenhagen.
2013: Third album “Sole Creation” was released worldwide on CD and LP by Agonia Records in February, followed by a co-release show with Terra Tenebrosa (their first concert) in Stockholm. The rest of the year included a Scandinavian tour supporting Meshuggah, and a few festivals and shows in Scandinavia and the Baltics. Debut album “Counting Heartbeats” was re-released by Agonia Records, including a bonus CD with rare material.
